Hour Fitness, and I happened to be in Kaneohe one fine morning, I decided to stop by and exercise at this facility. They do sell towels, but I don't know how much they are nor is it really worth doing so to begin with. I usually make sure to pack my own towel in such cases. It would also help to have more machines available especially because there are some that are used a lot and in high demand. Signage and directions are a bit confusing, as I had to look around when getting up to the top of the stairs to find the locker room. I probably won't be coming here for a while, or at least not very often. This was my first visit to Kaneohe's 2. My plan was to visit every location on the island, when in the area, just to see if it's a location I'd frequent in the future. I can understand it being an older building compared to Kapolei, but why does the showers and spa area look like they're stuck in the 8. No biggie for me because I always bring my own towel- -big and fluffy. ![]() 24 Hour Fitness Class ScheduleHowever, my towel is only meant to dry myself off after showering, so that leaves me nothing clean to step on while changing. I didn't bother to ask how much. It's like they know they pretty much have the monopoly for being one of the few gyms on the Windward side so they don't care about the facility. Bathroom area ALWAYS has something that's broken and that will stay broken for weeks. Do you want to show 24 hour fitness equipment or other products of your own company? Also careful where you stand on rainy days, there are quite a few areas in the gym where the ceiling leaks and there will be a nice puddle and water dripping down on you. I wish they had bumper plates for those that want to practice Olympic lifts, but at the same time there isn't much room for that anyway. The front desk staff are very friendly though, they always give a greeting when you enter and leave the gym. Been going here for a little less than a year. If you have a complaint about someone not cleaning up their pool of sweat or someone putting their towel on one machine while they use another (happened to me today and it was an employee who was working out after she clocked out)! The managers will literally do nothing and say, we will bring it up at our next meeting or we will make an announcement on the PA that no one is listening to since everyone has headphones.. JT the manager actually helped me with my membership. Friendly people that work there always welcome you and say goodbye. The gym is cool and clean for the most part. It's a 2. 4 concept so it looks like any 2. They really need a few more. But other than that, good place to workout. I come to this location mainly for the classes offered here. A couple of weeks ago the AC was down and 1/2 of the guests here didn't have towels so I ended up using my own towel to wipe up other people's sweat! I've brought this to managements attention before and was told there's the spray and paper towels next to the water. So I brought it to the clubs general managers attention and still nothing was done? So happy I decided to cancel my membership here. This is by far the worst gym facility I have ever been to, let alone paid to go to. It is virtually impossible to find parking between the hours of 4- 8pm. Sorry, but I have a career and need a more convenient facility. Additionally, the facility is absolutely disgusting and unkept. There is mold, dust, crud everywhere. I am afraid to shower there and sometimes won't even use the bathroom here. The people who work out here are a bunch of meatheads and it is overrun with military (don't they have their own tax payer subsidized gyms on base??). Good luck finding workout space or open equipment here. I have gotten so fed up with this gym that I've canceled my membership and am willing to pay nearly three times the cost to join a fitness club in town near my job. The experience is night and day, and I am not looking back! It is 1. 00% worth the investment, cleanliness, and peace of mind! The Windward side NEEDS much better quality gym options desperately! Decent amount of benches to use, plenty of cardio machines too. Wish there were more squat racks and space to deadlift that wasn't near the benches. It can get a bit crowded until about 8pm on week days, but that's a normal flow of the after work rush. Seems more of the guys train in groups here which can take up a little bit of space. Staff is friendly and courteous. Lots of space to spread out upstairs so you can work around people if it does get crowded. Can park by the shopping center if the immediate parking lot fills up. So far the locker rooms look plenty clean to me. In Hawaiian culture people are supposed to be welcoming, friendly and kind. I did not feel part of the Hawaiian Ohana as I went to 2. Kaneohe, HI. I called earlier in the morning to see if I could get a guest pas for the day since I'm on my honeymoon, all I had to do was present my ID upon arrival. I arrive and was treated like another number, another sale, another . Not a care at all that I had talked to someone on the phone earlier about a guest pass, not a care at all that I was on my honeymoon, not a care at all that I was visiting Hawaii. She was rude and disrespectful, showing no customer service. I've been to a lot of gyms. I've spent countless hours building my physique the way I want it. The lifting community is a tight knit group. After the way I was treated today in the Kaneohe 2. I will never step foot in another 2. I will also steer all of my bodybuilding friends and colleagues away from any 2. Had a couple problems when I came back after a few months. Susie and JT exceeded my expectations in helping resolve the issues. That is true customer service right there. I'm glad to be back after my hiatus, and to know that they were willing to handle the stress I thought that I would have to deal with. Fuck yeah, you guys are awesome. I go for classes and there all awesome, well the ones I take especially Turbo and Yoga they give me a awesome workout and the instructors are amazing. Going to this 2. 4 is a necessary evil. The gym is dirty and pretty small, especially considering how many people go here. The organization of the gym is not very intuitive and it's far too small (this is clearly a big thing for me). You usually don't have to wait for machines but it does happen from time to time. The staff here are pretty unattentive, just want to speak with eachother or be on the phone, but I don't mind that as much because I'm not here to chat with them anyways. The gym is kind of dirty but it's a gym, so I can give it some leniency there too and parking sucks but at least it's free (not tru for town 2. If can, I'd avoid this gym but it's the only one near by otherwise I'd go anywhere else. I moved from Honolulu to Kailua happy knowing a 2. I learned it is a smaller center so I expected a much more personalized and friendly environment. Though there are some employees who are wonderful, and do their jobs, there are not enough evening employees who restock cleaning supplies. I know first hand that it's a simple task. Gyms are a breeding- ground for bacteria. I'm extra paranoid about it because I've picked up staff- infection at a gym before, and was out of work for days. Since people can be inconsiderate and sometimes don't clean up after themselves, I do it before and after I use anything. It's frustrating that the majority of the time, there are no means of wiping things down upstairs because there are no paper towels at all. Its even more frustrating when they come up, look around for a second, and don't even bother to check, or I leave the building to see the staff member just sitting talking to friends. This is my gym of choice and I have been here for years. I can only work out after work and I get off at around 1. The machines are okay some machines are ripping and need to be replaced. The sauna shuts off way to early and there is always a sign up that says out of order. I'm not too sure if the sign is there cause the sauna is on a timer or if the sauna always seems to break down at 1. What the point of them calling themselves 2. New name should be 2. I will give more stars and rewrite a better review when they keep the sauna on as far as the steam room goes eh i don't really care about that. But sauna should be on at least till 3. I've seen really No Body at the gym from 3 to 5 so thats perfect to shut it off. Hell even 2. 30 would be sufficient enough. I'm sitting here in this dark sauna for about 3. This is so sad I might as well sit in my car with the heater on already. Total fail 2. 4 hour please fix the sauna situation soon. K rant over I'm heading out of here it's actually starting to get cold in here rofl!!!! FMLThe natural beauty of the windward side is sublime. During that time, I never once remember experiencing racism. Conversely, in my decades in Hawaii, I have experienced racism more times than I can remember. The locals cluster together and the non- locals keep to themselves. The annexation of Hawaii by the United States and the subsequent military presence are plausible explanations for this phenomenon, but no one is still alive from the late 1. Hopefully, history does not repeat itself.
